Jose brings approximately 12 years of behavioral health experience, including nearly a decade providing psychotherapy in community mental health, outpatient settings, and private practice. Jose holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families. He has experience working with individuals facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges including anxiety, addiction, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and attachment-related concerns.

In addition to clinical practice, Jose serves as an Instructor and Department Chair of Psychology, where he teaches courses in psychological science and research methods. He is also engaged in psychological research focused on understanding human behavior and mental health. His academic and research work allows him to integrate current psychological science with evidence-based therapeutic approaches in clinical practice.

Telehealth Services

All services are provided through secure telehealth sessions for clients located in California. Telehealth allows clients to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of their own environment while maintaining the same level of professional care.
